‘The Light Is On for You:’ Parishes offer expanded Lenten hours for confessions
Parishes throughout the Archdiocese of San Francisco are taking part in “The Light is on for You,” a Lenten prayer opportunity offering additional times for confessions as Easter approaches. Following is information from parishes with regard to the campaign. Any additional listings sent by parishes will be added to this article. An online guide to confession from the archdiocese may be found at sfarch.org/Lent.
Schedule for Confessions during Lent at St. Thomas More Church:
Thursdays 7:30 – 8 p.m.
Fridays 8-10 p.m. with Stations of the Cross followed by Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until Midnight. Closing with Benediction.
Good Friday and Holy Saturday 3 p.m.
During Masses on Saturday Vigils at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. & 8 p.m.

Suzanne was an artist, a musician, a writer and director of plays, a leader, a person of great faith and faithfulness. Born in Minnesota, Suzanne and her strong Catholic family moved to Watsonville, where she attended Moreland Notre Dame High School. At 17, she entered the Notre Dame de Namur Novitiate, and for thirty years as a Sister, was a creative teacher in elementary and secondary schools in California.
For 26 years, Suzanne served as a pastoral associate at St. Kevin Church in San Francisco, where she, Father Jim O’Malley and other priests and lay people were blessed to live on the cutting edge of church history, helping to translate Vatican II spirituality into all aspects of parish life.
